River Reach Staircase Completed

The Lowell National Historic Park recently completed consRiver Reach Staircase, Lowelltruction of their River Reach staircase, providing access from Pawtucket Street to the newest greenspace added to the City’s urban greenway system.  The greenspace provides views of the historic Pawtucket Dam on the bank of the Merrimack River.  The steel staircase, structurally designed by TEC, is located behind the Spalding house and is finished with durable, composite timber decking.  The project was completed as part of a partnership between the Lowell National Historic Park, the City of Lowell, and the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust.
