US Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx, visited the City of Lowell yesterday to participate in a roundtable discussion regarding the City’s recent TIGER grant award congratulating the partnership between the City, UMass Lowell, and Enel Green Power North America to fund the rehabilitation and replacement of 8 privately owned canal bridges throughout the City.  The roundtable included several state and federal dignitaries including U.S. Senator Ed Markey, Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, and University of Massachusetts President Marty Meehan.  TEC was instrumental in assisting the partnership in helping prepare the TIGER Grant Funding Application as well as being the Engineer of Record for the Broadway Street Bridge replacement project that is featured in the article below.

TEC is proud to support the City, UMass Lowell, and Enel Green Power North America on such a pivotal transportation improvement project!
