On Tuesday night, The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and TEC presented at the Groton Road (Route 40) / Oak Hill Road Intersection Improvement Project Design Public Hearing. The project includes roadway reconstruction for the inclusion of bicycle lanes and sidewalks, a traffic signal at the intersection of Groton Road and Oak Hill Road, drainage and stormwater improvements and the full replacement of the culvert conveying Gilson Brook under Groton Road. The transportation improvements will provide safer accessibility and mobility for vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists to the local businesses and Westford residents.

Attending from TEC was Mike Myers, Project Manager, Jody Trunfio, Senior Engineer and Steve Mallory, Senior Engineer.
