Town of Andover and Lupoli Companies secure grant!

Andrew Flanagan, Andover Town Manager, Sal Lupoli, CEO Lupoli Companies, State Senator Barbara L’Italien, & Secretary Jay Ash

Andrew Flanagan, Andover Town Manager, Sal Lupoli, CEO Lupoli Companies, State Senator Barbara L’Italien, & Secretary Jay Ash

Congratulations to the Town of Andover and the Lupoli Companies in their successful efforts to secure a MassWorks Infrastructure Grant! The MassWorks grant is a true demonstration of public/private partnership that will enable the Town to design and construct necessary sewer infrastructure, roadway, traffic, and safety improvements on the I-93 ramps and Dascomb Road. The Commonwealth’s investment to upgrade public infrastructure fixes safety and traffic problems that exist today and sets the stage for a transformative private investment that will renovate an underutilized and vacant industrial property into a thriving, tax generating amenity for the Town of Andover. Thank you Governor Baker, Lieutenant Governor Polito, Secretary Ash, and Senator L’Italien for your consideration, relentless work ethic, and recognition of the great things to come in Andover under the leadership of Town Manager Flanagan and the Board of Selectmen.

Earth Day / Comcast Cares Day

TEC progroupudly supported Earth Day / Comcast Cares Day in Lawrence this past weekend organized by Groundwork Lawrence.  Several members of the TEC Team volunteered by cleaning up the northern section of the City’s future Rail Trail corridor adjacent to the Manchester Street Park.  TEC is the Engineer of Record for the design of the Rail Trail linking Merrimack Street to the Methuen border north of Manchester Street Park.

The event was well attended by nearly 800 volunteers including elected officials, business owners, residents, and students and covered live throughout the day by Telemundo Boston’s Arianne Alcorta and NECN’s Matt Noyes.  It was a wonderful experience giving back to the Lawrence community.  What a difference we can make when we all come together for a common cause!  Special thanks to all of those who contributed to such a moving event!
