Director of Transportation Planning and ITS Services
1. What is on your wish list for the next 10 years at TEC?
I am the Director of Transportation Planning and ITS Services. Our team performs many of the initial analyses to aid in future intersection and roadway infrastructure design for our municipal clients. We design traffic signals, both new and updated installations. Our municipal work also includes serving as peer reviewers for Planning and Zoning Boards. For our private clients, we prepare traffic impact studies as well as applications to the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) office and MassDOT.
2. What is the best advice you can give to a new employee?
The best advice I can give to new employees is to never stop learning – ask questions and seek answers. I still feel like I learn something new almost every day.
3. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
I suppose the first thing I would do if I won the lottery is be very responsible and pay off my mortgage and put money away for my kids to go to college. Then I would go on a fabulous, extravagant, expensive vacation through Europe to see in person beautiful places I have only ever seen in pictures.
